A standard, 50-minute appointment is $230. Your payment is required at the time of the appointment.  

Refine Clinical Psychology is not a bulk billing practice.

You may be entitled to a Medicare rebates of $145.25 per clinical psychology session with an eligible Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) and referral from your General Practitioner (GP) or Psychiatrist. This substantially reduces the out-of-pocket cost of your psychology services. 

As per Medicare billing requirements, full payment is due at the time of the appointment and the Medicare rebate will be deposited into your nominated bank account subsequent to full payment. 

You may be eligible for a partial reimbursement for your clinical  psychology appointment fees through your private health fund. Please contact your health fund directly for further information about your eligibility. Please note, this rebate is unable to be used in conjunction with your Medicare MHTP rebate.  

We require a minimum of 2 full business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows for provision of timely care  to others who may be waiting for treatment. Cancellation fees or missed appointments may incur the full session fee. We appreciate your understanding and respect of yours and our time. 

You may access psychology services without the need for a referral. Full fees apply and there are no limitations on the number of psychology sessions you are able to access.

Refine Clinical Psychology accepts referrals from third party funded sources such as, NDIS (plan or self-managed), DVA, and Workcover QLD referrals. Third party sources may be billed directly leaving no out of pocket expense for the client. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this further.
